DANISH ROYAL GUARD - review order uniform
The Royal Life Guards is a Danish infantry regiment founded in 1658 by King Frederik III. The regiment stands watch over the Danish royal family at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen and at other royal palaces and castles around Denmark on occasion.
The dark review order uniform with its characteristic bearskin headdress is worn while on guard duty.
This royal guard is crafted in solid beech and oak wood and hand painted by skillful craftsmen with an eye for detail. The guard carries an oak wood M1 Garand rifle and a sewn cotton fabric flag of Denmark.
